Graphic Designer - Beauty Brands NAT. & ECO in CLEAR ISLAND WATERS, Queensland

Part time initially 2-3 days per week
NAT & ECO Natural skin care & Beauty Brands with targeted markets within the Professional Salon market, Pharmacy and health food market & department stores in the Natural skin care categories. We are Australian made and owned brands and our office and factory is based at Robina on the Gold Coast.
As a young, dynamic and fast expanding company we are looking for a rock-star mid-weight/senior Graphic Designer to join our design team, and implement our new creative direction for the business, as we launch into this new and exciting growth phase.
This hands-on role will involve you taking all our brands to the next level with your brilliant creative and design skills.
Trend-focused and with an enviable design flair, you will admire beautiful, stylish creative. You will be a natural communicator, highly effective at time management balancing creativity with deadlines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Plan creative new concepts, packaging that is mind-blowing and forward thinking
? Ensuring all design and brand guidelines are met
? Create amazing designs
? Work closely with the CEO and operations manager and Copy writer to ensure deadlines and strategies are met
? Create visual experiences that captivate our various target markets and have strong call to action
Assist with social media campaigns and communication strategy
Initial role is expected to be 2 days per week growing to full time over the next year.
Work hours could be flexible if candidate was studying
THE CANDIDATE:
To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills and attributes
? A mind blowing portfolio of diverse work that showcases your conceptual and strategic ability
? A passionate understanding of design trends and tools with excellent attention to detail
? Strong and comprehensive design vision
? Agency background highly regarded
? Experience of designing for Retail packaging would be an advantage
? Experience of the beauty and/or fashion industries highly advantageous
? Strong and comprehensive design vision
? Enviable skills in InDesign, CS3, PhotoShop & Illustrator
? Outstanding project management and time management skills
? Brilliant at handling the pressures of tight deadlines
? A strong understanding of print, digital, web and screen design
? Photography skills for products would be an advantage
